MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

Lifting of merchandise items, materials or boxed parts weighing up to 70 pounds from floor to waist height and moving a lateral distance of 20 feet.  Other items might weigh more and each employee must seek assistance when lifting anything over 70 pounds.

VISUAL ACUITY:

Visual activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less with the ability to bring objects into sharp focus while reading a printed form or screen.

ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS:

Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

Worker is exposed to normal warehouse and office conditions.  The warehouse will include cold, hot and humid conditions.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge:

Requires high school diploma or equivalent education with an understanding of basic warehouse operations and procedures.  Requires problem solving skills and an ability to read and understand procedures and merchandise picking tickets.

Experience:

One year of previous Distribution Center experience preferred, but not required.

Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:

Which may be representative, but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

Computerized RF, scale equipment, printer, scanner, keyboard, printers, pallet jack, electric tape machines, clear tape dispensers, tape measure and computer terminal.

Some positions require operating warehouse equipment and must be able to go up high in the air on equipment with proper training and personal protective equipment.

Licenses Required:

No specific licenses required for this position.
