* Drive EHS performance metrics/improvement at site.
* External and internal customer focus, strong commitment to the
operationalization of EHS activity.
* Promote EHS performance to customers and other interested parties.
* Participate in the development and improvement of EHS programs on a global
scale.
* Participate in the investigation of all recordable accidents and incidents.
* Ensure effective working relationships with GE Transportation and government
agencies on EHS issues.
* Identify and manage employee EHS Training.
* Ensure that site security meets GE requirements.
* Conduct and/or participate in EHS audits as required.
* Maintain and/or pursue external EHS recognition, such as GE Global Star
Awards, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification.
* Keep all EHS electronic tools updated accordingly with site needsInternal * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Biology, Chemist, Environmental Sciences, or Occupational
Health & Safety.
* Minimum of 5 years EHS experience.
* Trained EHS Auditor.
* Strong written and verbal communicator, energetic personality, results driven.
* Team player with a global perspective.
* GE EHS Service/Plant Manager Trained.
* Bilingual (English).
* Strong Leadership to match the needs of different individuals and teams
* Knowledge on EHS Mexican Standards
* Clean Industry Program (Profepa)
* Autogestion Program (STPS)Internal * Experience in the Transportation industry.
* Manufacturing/operations experience.
* Green Belt certification
* Lead Environmental and Safety Auditor Certified
* OSHAS 18000
* ISO 14000
