Talent Acquisition Market Intelligence & Sourcing Manager Job

The role will be divided into two main functions: market intelligence and sourcing.

Within market intelligence, the main responsibilities are:

1.- Data mining, collection and warehousing: transforming regular data into business intelligence. Obtain information from our competitors and analyze it to better conduct our value proposition, generate different databases to understand market penetration and market segments.

2.- Knowledge management: develop and conduct a mechanism to share knowledge among staffing team within regions and industries; identify available knowledge among the team, generate innovative approach.

3.- Benchmark: conduct regular trend analysis of competitors and “best in class companies” staffing process and strategies to identify best practices. Evaluate strategies that could be implemented to upgrade the staffing service.

4.- Key stakeholders: build and maintain relationships with different associations and institutes, both external and internal to GE, to better understand industries and countries culture (such as American Chamber, Hispanic Forum, industry specific forums). Generate a relationship that leverages stakeholders as sourcing channels as well.

5. – Branding: Understand how GE is positioned as an employer brand in different countries and industries to develop a locally coherent and regionally adherent strategy. Develop attraction collateral to increase GE’s employer brand visibility aiming the achievement of top of mind recognition.

Within sourcing, the responsibilities are:

1.- Design and implement strategies to leverage existing techniques/channels which identify candidates in different countries in the region such as job boards, social networking, university relations, alumni, employee referral program and diversity sourcing.

2.- Vendor Management: develop and deploy the strategy to identify and qualify vendors in the region and negotiate with them to obtain a competitive fee and assure compliance.

3.- Manage and build sourcing strategies based on the 2.0 recruitment platform leveraging the digital ecosystem (existent GE/non-GE tools such as gecareers, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc). Interpret inbound traffic and apply data in the development of initiatives that reach passive and active leads.

4.- Create indicators of lead conversion to support development/establishment of sourcing channels.

5.- Research new sourcing channels based on forecasted business needs.
