Event Response
- Serve as key IT process expert for a defined functional area
- Responsible for identifying resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned deadlines
- Provide for 24 x 7 escalation of issues to GE team members according to established processes
ITIL Framework
- Comply fully with the Change Control, Problem Management, Incident Management ITIL foundations
- Create Problem tickets when standard thresholds are met
Proactively identify areas of waste or inefficiency and champion resolution
- Reduce labor required to serve the Transportation ERP population, reduce cost to deliver
- Be an advocate for efficiency, speed and data quality as well as internal and external responsiveness
Establish and manage functional user relationships, assisting in planning IT initiatives for ERP support
Champion simplicity through customization and enhancement reductionQualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) and 5+ years’ experience leading IT projects
- Bilingual (English)
- Demonstrated experience of core IT skills
- 2+ years of experience supporting Oracle e-Business Suite Applications
- Demonstrated firsthand experience with business processes and procedures in one or more
business areas including Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Experience with project management, and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or small projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with DB environments, including modeling (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server)
- Demonstrates command of multiple programming languages (MS ASP & Java), basic systems
analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and
interfacing.
- Desired experience in Import/Export systems
- Desired Six Sigma training and certification
