The Quality Engineer - III will support product development and production by reviewing and assuring proper quality requirements are met and that Quality Standards are implemented and followed per customer, company and regulatory (Government & FAA) requirements. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for making difficult determinations regarding the quality, safety and airworthiness of products and materials. The Quality Engineer will also partner with and give guidance to customers and suppliers to assure quality requirements and expectations are met.This position will work on the shop floor and will provide hands on support to the manufacturing and assembly process as it relates to Boeing 787 Thrust Reverser line and of the assembly of metallic materials and mechanical hardware. Examples of processes within area of responsibility are steel and aluminum processing & assembly, forming, heat treatment, grinding and polishing. The selected candidate would be expected to be fully supportive of Goodrich Values, Goodrich People Philosophy, and Lean Manufacturing.
Candidate will work within factory environment ensuring quality expectations are accomplished. Candidate will be required to provide technical support relative to quality, quality trends, real time problem resolution, and have a bias for action to correct any adverse issues that surface. Interfacing with all levels of leadership, as well as being a focal for internal and external customers will be required as applicable to quality issues. The Quality Engineer will support requirements relative to audits, as well as ongoing monitoring and verification that work is being performed in full support of compliance requirements. Candidate must be able to interpret engineering, quality manuals, and customer specifications. Must be able to perform root cause analysis, formulate corrective action plans, and manage these plans until completed.
Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Quality Engineering or similar technical discipline and 2-5 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience is required.The selected candidate will enhance and support teamwork, and support an environment where all team members are able to participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) and utilize the tools on a daily basis.
Successful candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills utilizing tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Candidates must have current travel Visa to travel to US for training and events.
Experience operating within a fast paced aerospace company would be highly preferred. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, quality manuals, and customer specifications and work with ISO or AS9100 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner role within Thomson Reuters Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba is dedicated to provide business units in these locations specific Human Resources consultative and operational services to line managers and staff.
This professional will be responsible for the execution of HR operational plans and HR roadmap for the business units he/she supports, working in partnership with global specialists and regional HR Operations to deliver HR solutions, contributing to the success of the cross-business unit by being an active member of the HR team.
This specific position is key for on boarding new staff, including recruitment and transfers from other TR operations; talent development and retention; engagement within a performance culture. And, is responsible for ensuring HR is a trusted and indispensable component of the internal value chain within the business.
Responsibilities
· Lead the HR activities (on boarding new staff, including recruitment and transfers from other TR operations; talent development and retention, appointments, reductions in force; advice on compensation alignment; support performance culture, support management team towards high engagement levels across the units)
· Work with the managers to translate business needs into HR requirements and working environment
· Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business areas strategies
· Lead the workforce planning and effectively manage the staffing process to ensure talent needs and diversity considerations are fulfilled
· Acts as a consultant most frequently on issues related to strategy execution and change, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations
· Identify and execute on all HR programs/HR Roadmap including leadership development, Performance and Talent management, workforce planning, compensation planning, Reward & Recognition and Awards of Excellence
· Lead complex employee relations issues and legal investigations on behalf of the business
· Provide guidance and support in administering human resources policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance

· Work with Regional HR Operations group to ensure effective and aligned delivery of operational HR service
· Partner with business to implement the Thomson Reuters talent signature process, align to talent requirements within respective units
· Develop overall engagement strategy/plan using employee feedback (e.g. employee surveys, focus groups, etc).
· Partner with business unit leaders to build capability of managers, including implementation of change management and team effectiveness solutions
· Counsel Managers on compensation related decisions and the Company's pay for performance philosophy
· Provide expertise and counseling on business unit organization designs that supports a high performing culture and cost targets
· Partner with internal communications to ensure alignment between internal communications and overall people strategy
· Ensure compliance and alignment of HR actions, polices and procedures with the overall control environment
· Actively participate as a member of the HR team developing and supporting the global HR strategy.
Qualifications
· In depth HR functional knowledge, with HR generalist background or HR specialist with experience in relevant disciplines

Requirements
