This position will work on the shop floor and will provide hands on support to the manufacturing and assembly process as it relates to Boeing 787 Thrust Reverser line and of the assembly of metallic materials and mechanical hardware. Examples of processes within area of responsibility are steel and aluminum processing & assembly, forming, heat treatment, grinding and polishing. The selected candidate would be expected to be fully supportive of Goodrich Values, Goodrich People Philosophy, and Lean Manufacturing.

Candidate will work within factory environment ensuring quality expectations are accomplished. Candidate will be required to provide technical support relative to quality, quality trends, real time problem resolution, and have a bias for action to correct any adverse issues that surface. Interfacing with all levels of leadership, as well as being a focal for internal and external customers will be required as applicable to quality issues. The Quality Engineer will support requirements relative to audits, as well as ongoing monitoring and verification that work is being performed in full support of compliance requirements. Candidate must be able to interpret engineering, quality manuals, and customer specifications. Must be able to perform root cause analysis, formulate corrective action plans, and manage these plans until completed.

· Provide guidance and support in administering human resources policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance

· Responsible for implementing initiatives at the business unit level and may support the design of specialized or customized training, communications, and recruiting

Qualifications

· In depth HR functional knowledge, with HR generalist background or HR specialist with experience in relevant disciplines

· Strong consulting skills - ability to maintain strong business relationships

· Collaborative - able to operate effectively within matrix environment and work in partnership with HR specialists to deliver implementation of HR global programs and polices

· Ability to work with business to establish HR actions and metrics to meet strategic objectives

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate technical HR information clearly and concisely

· Ability to give feedback and coach business managers and be a role model for business managers in terms of managing change

· Ability to deep understanding of customers, their needs, future direction & application of our offerings

Requirements

· Bachelors degree required, MBA or MA in Industrial Relations a plus

· Five or more years progressive human resources generalist experience, including demonstrated expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, development and organizational change initiatives

· Fluent in Spanish and English

· Deep knowledge about local labor market and regulations (mandatory for Mexico and a plus for Venezuela and Cuba)

· Experience assessing and implementing HR systems in international companies

· Proven ability to build relationships with and influence all levels within an organization

· Experience in working within a fast paced, complex and dynamic business environment

· Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English

· Ability to work with a wide range of highly sensitive and confidential issues

· PC skills including MS Office and HR systems
