POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Operating Supervisor develops and presents training to Licensed Operators, Shift

Technical Advisors, and non-licensed operators. Key responsibilities include:

Administer initial and continuing training programs including classroom, laboratory,

and simulator instruction.

Preparation, administration, and grading of examinations.

Evaluation of trained performance.

Scheduling and coordinating training course presentations.

Implement effective analysis, design, and development of training materials in

The Latin America Technical Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the pre-sales, deployment and integration of the PayPal payment processing services for the Latin American Markets. This entails rolling out PayPal to channel partners in the financial and ecommerce sectors as well as merchants and includes platform/software developers. The Technical Sales Manager will participate in the software development and release to the customer, trouble shooting and resolving customer issues, and working directly with other integration engineers, systems engineers, project managers, QA engineers and other technology vendors in the customer environment as directed by the business development or sales leads.

RESPONSIBILITES

-Ensure merchants implement PayPals payment processing solutions with a high degree of quality and using optimal integration techniques.

-Fluency in Spanish is a must (written and verbal skills). Native Spanish speaker a plus.

-Generate in-depth technical information (Sample code, white papers, design specifications, architectural designs, FAQs, Snippets) for distribution to partners and merchants.

-Be themain point of contact for all PayPal technical subject matter expertise for Latam.

-Work in engineering labs with other engineers to perform end to end testing and system integration.

-Maintain current knowledge of PayPal products by creating and running demos of PayPal e-Commerce functionality and sample integrations.

-Maintain current knowledge of the Payment systems and Web Services landscape.

-Work with business, relationship and account management leads to manage conflicting requests from customers.

-Perform black box and white box testing.

-Learn new technologies and systems quickly.

-Closely interface with PayPal Professional Services teams on processes and knowledge/Content matters.

-Ensure 100 percent follow up with all opportunities and at least 85 percent conversion from handoff to live-to-site.

-Establish effective working relationships with other units within the PayPal organization in San Jose and in the region (Brazil and Mexico) to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on process, policy and product changes that will affect our merchants in the region.

-Present to local and remote teams of varying sizes as part of the presales, sales and integration life cycles.

-On-call support from time to time.
