Opportunity for an Aerospace CNC Machining Manufacturing Project Manager to be based in Mexico.  We are looking for a person with experience of setting up an overseas precision engineering factory, and experience of aerospace standards such as SABRe and AS9100.  English language skills are paramount, and Spanish language skills will be an advantage but not essential.

This is a two year project which will begin at the UK factory getting to understand the product, and building relationships with colleagues.  Moving out to Mexico, the Project Manager’s key relationships will be with the Mexican Shelter Company (who support overseas business in Mexico), the selected turnkey CNC Machine provider, and colleagues from the UK.

Key Milestones for him will be:

Work closely with a selected Turn-Key process/cell provider in order to achieve quality, performance and throughput targets.  The establishment of each of the Production Cells and the achievement of on-time manufacturing Readiness.The Approvals in the form of AS9100 and ISO9001Despatching the first Production part on-time. Remuneration includes a competitive basic salary paid in the UK.  Additional benefits include a milestone bonuses, good accommodation, company car, private healthcare (family, including med-evac).  There are a number of privately run local amenities which offer the level of services expected by expats.
