Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project. Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments. Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues. Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Role Summary/Purpose
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or similar 4 years min of experience in product engineering & design for drilling & surface products such as valves, christmas trees, wellheads Strong Knowledge in the Oil & Gas Industry (API, ASME, ASTM) Bilingual (English/Spanish)/Excellent communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated proficiency in higher math, trigonometry, descriptive geometry, and statistics Web based knowledge, word processing, and electronic spreadsheet/presentation skills are preferred Ability to perform in a team environment, across functions, and with suppliers and revenue sharing partners Computer aided design (CAD) experience, preferably in PROe 3D modeling Ability to manage electronic data files in a structured database environment Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance as it relates to individual parts and overall assemblies (ANSI Y14.5)
