We are looking for Mark VI and Mark VIe controls specialists for long and short term contracts in Latin America. These can be DCS or gas turbine or steam turbine mark vi and mark vie controls engineers.

Preferably Latin American candidates. Spanish/Portuguese preferable.

Basic Qualifications: • 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in turbine controls applications

• Demonstrated excellent communication and technical writing skills

• Demonstrated ability to proactively manage multiple projects and deliver on commitments and deadlines.

• Experience in Power Generation Industry

• BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Physics

• Ability to interpret P&ID/Electrical Schematics and experience with basic instrumentation

• Ability to interpret Controls logic and translate to functional design requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Power Generation Industry

• Familiar with GE Controls Products – MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, MKVe

• Familiar with GE Gas Turbine Operations and requisition process

• Desired 1 yr experience in Controls Gas Turbine Fulfillment.

• Good Technical Writing skills Scope of Work The Aftermarket Fulfillment team executes software and hardware upgrades on the GE heavy duty gas turbine and steam turbine fleet. We support Mark* V, Mark* VI, Mark* VIe, and Mark* Ve architecture.

Our upgrades range from fully productized software packages to extremely complex panel replacements.

We interface with project managers, requisition managers, master schedulers, sales managers, and customers on a daily basis.

We work every day to manage customer and business needs, versus our fulfillment capability

. Projects are released daily, and we must have adequate representation at the release meetings to ensure not only proper hand off to our team, but also that are interests are protected – specifically that a project is not released with unrealistic fulfillment expectations.

The volume of projects, and frequent changes due to customer or business needs, requires diligence in managing the overall execution schedule.

Both internal and external deliverables receive the highest visibility in senior management.

The contractor will have responsibility to support project release meetings and schedule management.

They will also be assigned their own aftermarket fulfillment engineering projects.
