PeruA key specialist role in GBS Latin America organization responsible to lead the regional strategy for learning and training to build annual calendar and deliver the employee learning plan aligned with business to support talent development and business growth. Will arrange proper training content / courses to meet regional needs in coordination with GGO.• Responsible to build learning plan and execute training strategy for the region.
• Conduct appropriate training needs surveys to determine the learning needs of the region and the Leadership Development requirements.
• Liaise with GGO Learning colleagues and functional program managers and business units to ensure. that appropriate learning opportunities are offered, scheduled and well coordinated.
• Manage the training process for assigned courses.
• Identify, assess and select internal/external facilitators; training companies and manage instructor. certifications using objective selection criteria and assuring that international standards are achieved.
• Develop and maintain the training calendar and serve as a key resource for the region.
• Manage the training budget, achieving quarterly and annual financial targets.
• Work with local universities as needed.• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study. (Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Engineering).
• 10 years plus business experience (desirable HR and Training management experience).
• Minimum of five years of demonstrated success in development (including instructional design and adult learning principles) and delivery (both classroom and technology- based methodologies).
• Successful managerial experience working with external training providers and ability to maximize resources.
• Proven experience in building strong relationships with various business units, analyzing customer. needs, working with various countries/ cultures/external vendors, developing and managing budgets. and managing and leading regionally training needs as required.
• Experience working as an assessor, leader and trainer.
• Strong operational experience – HR is the preferred experience base.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a matrix environment.
• Willing to travel within Latin America 30% aprox as required.
• Ability to adapt to different styles and effectively operate in a multicultural team.
• Strong written and oral communication. Able to work and communicate at all levels in the organization.
•Strong presentation skills.
• Experience with various technologies and flexible learning offerings.
•Tri-lingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese).
•Expert in the use of standard Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point).•Six sigma certified
•HRLP graduated
•Master’s degree in Organization Development
• A strong network within GE and the Global Learning Community>
